Among students, who is more likely to believe the Internet is safe for purchasing goods and services?

   Men
   Women

Men

A 2001 University Applicant Survey conducted by Acumen Research found males (44.1%) to be more than twice as likely as females (20.9%) to believe the Internet is safe for this type of e-commerce.

No word on whether this has anything to do with the males’ reluctance to leave the couch and TV remote behind to find their way to a store.
